At the AGM Held on February 10th 2012 a new committee was elected by its members and we welcome a couple new committee members and thank those who will be leaving the committee for all their hard work.
President : Andrew Bammann, Vice President: Mark Reynolds, Secretary: Tash O'Brien, Treasurer: Still to be decided, General Committee members: Paul Scholz, Tex O'Brien, Jodie Scholz, Jeff Becker, Cindy Dennis, Jackie O'Brien.
The Club also has some exciting news at the AGM a special committee was formed "A SOCIAL COMMITTEE" it currently has two members and is looking for a couple more to join them. Jill O'Brien and Jodie Scholz have volunteered to help organise some entertainment for saturday nights on the mound. Anyone one that would like to help out or has any ideas give these two a call.
The committee also have the following projects on the go to make 2012 a great year - the purchasing of a mechanical cow or"cow cutta", the purchase of a container to store all the outside equipment in, and best of all a wind break for the mound.
A exciting new award will be presented each competition day in 2012 called the "TEAM SPIRIT" award which will go to the team that show great sportsmanship, knowledge of the game, stock work and most important are having a GREAT TIME! This award will be given out to both Youth and Senior Teams.
One rule change will occur in 2012 for the YOUTH - the team that pen the most of their designated collar colour will win. This rule has been changed because as the club has evolved the youth are now ready to take the next step. For more clarification of the rule please see Tash O'Brien or the new update rules sheet.
.Any other ideas for improvements or suggestions for the club please approach anyone of the committee members

August Event
Small change to the August Program we will not be running a Lucky Draw competition on the Sunday due to a cattle shortage this month. Saturdays program will remain unchanged with both Lucky Draw and Open competitions for Youth and Seniors. Since we will finish early there will be a opportunity for all members to practice the obsticle course and the Dry work pattern for the stockmans challenge.
A big thank you to all that helped find cattle for this event it wasn't easy, and our cattle suppliers are The Grocke Family of Kyancutta and O'Brien enterprises. Please thank these people especially Wayne, Chris, Aaron, Janelle and Marty these people are not involved in our sport but being such a community minded family they are willing to let us use their cattle. If you see them on the mound over the weekend make yourself known and let them know how much we appreciate it!
BBQ Tea on the mound please bring a salad to share, fun games in the arena for the kids from 5.30pm Lollies and Prizes kindly donated by Andrea Wolger!
Many hands make light work and we are all starting to puff out so if you can volunteer to do a job and dig in it is very much appreciated at this time of the year
